EU directive instructs not to use electronics solder tin-lead (reportedly due to lead, which is of course just a cover ecological), but tin-bismuth. This is a fragile, expensive and quickly oxidized, thereby degenerates electronics as a whole. Exceptions are: railways and nuclear power (TODO: VERIFY).
